‘Forgetting Myself’ is an emotional exploration of human guilty pleasures and escapism, in an effort to understand our desire for complete freedom and control.
It is an A3 perfect bound publication printed on smooth white 135gsm paper. The cover is made of soft, upcycled leather paper and it contains self-directed photography and interview style survey answers analysing people’s guilty pleasures.
‘Forgetting Myself’ is also a tête-bêche publication, meaning two texts are bound together with one text rotated 180 degrees relative to the other. This allows there to be two front covers so that the viewer can decide which side they want to start at. When you reach the end of the first text the next one starts, flipped upside down.
